Ignition Switch Question
I have been reading about the ignition switch (p/n 71496-65, fits '65-'71) and from what I've read, it seems that I need to have the HD factory switch. Is it a special kind of switch that cannot be replaced with say any other ON/OFF type switch?

Re: Ignition Switch Question
You need to download the service manual and study it. You are off base now and will waste a lot of time and money if you don't do the research.

Re: Ignition Switch Question
That cart can use an auto supply switch. Get the wiring diagram and see if I am correct.

Re: Ignition Switch Question
Depends on the type of switch you buy. Some come with and need a switch. Others do not need or use a key!
