2007 Club Car Precedent - Parking brake sticking??
2007 Club Car Precedent
The parking brake is staying engaged. Essentially, if you press the brake pedal, WITHOUT pressing on the parking brake corner of pad simultaneously, the brake pedal stays locked in and enaged like the parking brake is still applied. Press accelerator and the brake petal releases but will repeat if you press the brake. I have removed the assembly and at a glance it all looks normal. At first it was extremely difficult to manually move the parking brake portion of the brake petal assembly. A few taps of a hammer and a little PB Blast and its easier to move by hand but its still not releasing on its own. Definitely experiencing resistance. Any ideas? Thanks. |

Re: 2007 Club Car Precedent - Parking brake sticking??
Maybe need a new hill brake pawl kit? They are pretty specific, but there is a kit out there for 2007 electric precedents, #102587401. I believe they come with a new spring, push clip, and pawl return spring assembly. Should be priced around $35-40$.
