Correct there should also be another wire on the same main post going to the charge port.

Didn’t try to plug it in being I knew the batteries were hot and new. Also it has
The charge bolted to the rear under the rear seat

Correct it goes to the port under the front seat where it would charge

So can I just jump the trigger wire on the relay with 12 volts and see

If you are talking about the main solenoid (where the red battery wire attaches), then "No". That is a 48vdc solenoid.

Where are you at now with it, I know Luke was helping you so I do not want to mess up his train of thought....
