Default RXV Battery temp sensor

If I have fully charged batteries and battery temp sensor is disconnected, should cart run?

Will a quiq charger charge at all with temp sensor removed?

Default Re: RXV Battery temp sensor

The portion of the temp sensor that slips over the batteries post doesn't conduct power, just heat to the sensor (inside the molded black box). If the sensor were hooked up, but not touching any batteries, cart would run and charge. If sensor were totally removed (like cut off), the cart would still run, but not charge. If the sensor has been exposed to lots of corrosion, it likely has been compromised.
