Default I think my motor is fried. Need suggestions on what to do next.

I have a 95 Ezgo that has been completley upgraded.

Trojan 48v upgrade
Alltrax 600 amp controller
Heavy duty 48v solenoid
All cables upgraded to 2awg
Beefed up F/R switch.
36v emp two speed motor, wired for speed
14" wheels with street tires. No lift.

I'm 99% sure the motors fried. It has been wanting to have a jerky take off some for a while. Then today I while riding I heard a pop from the motor area then and a burnt smell.

I'm new to this, but I presume the motor is shot. Now when you press the gas you can hear a noise in the motor and then the burnt smell again.

The cart ran 25-30mph. If it's the motor, what is the best option? Send it to emp, buy a new d&d, raptor, or plum quick?

Any help is appreciated.
