Default Breaking in new batteries

As part of my upgrade from 36v to 48v, I am getting new batteries Saturday. I have the 48v solenoid installed, and the charger has shipped. I think the charger will arrive 2 days after I get the new batteries.

Can anybody give me the low down of breaking in new batteries correctly?

Thanks!

Go to the sponsor page , click on Carts Unlimited. He has a great tutorial on batteries in the side menu. I'd give you links but I'm the village computer idiot.

Ideally you charge the batteries BEFORE 1st use..... bummer huh?
Bottom line don't run them down below 75% capacity .... before the first charge.
If they have some shelf time on them you may not get a lot of drive time before the charger shows unless you can borrow one or cop a charge
