Default Fixing a rip in fender

Got a rip in the plastic. Are there any procedures for fixing something like this. Thanks
Pete

About the only way to really fix that is to weld the plastic back together using a soldering iron and some extra plastic of the same type. It's best to have the body off but it will mess up the paint, finish with the appropriate filler for plastic and then a primer that is made for plastics. use an auto type paint for the finish.
It's really not worth doing in my opinion cause used bodies can be found fairly cheap. if the body has good paint on it but needs a color change they can be repainted with most automotive paints with nothing special added to them. (most people will argue with this saying you need adhesion promoters and flex additives but it's simply not true if your painting over a good base paint like what comes factory on them and you prep it right)
I would be inclined to try some 2 part epoxy glue on it if you're not wanting to replace the body

Not much you can do to make it look right. Replacing with a used body is the easiest. To keep it from 'flapping' on you, you could drill small holes on each side and use some small zip ties to 'stich' it toghether.
