Charging time
Just courious,just bought a cart from a friend,put on charge at say 11:00pm when i left for work at 7:00am the charger was still on!batteries are about 2 months old.water levels in batteries are good!should i unplug it or let it go?THANKS:bootyshake :

2 month old batteries should only take 4 to 6 hours to fully charge and turn off an automatic charger......... Unless, something is wrong with the batteries.

Thats is of coarse if all your connections are good. Check all he connections and let it run till it shuts off. If it hasn't shut off after 8-10 hours you either have something wrong with the charger, connections or batteries.

Thanks,checked all conn. found a couple of dirty ones,will clean tomm. How often should i charge?when getting slow?dead?everynight? I'm new to this my first cart was junk and is sitting behind the shed! I got a feeling it will be a project X thanks to all yalls carts!

If you use your cart generously each day, charge it each night. If you use your cart and have only a minute or 2 of "Run Time" each day, charge it once a week or so.
Never let them go "low" or especially run them all the way down. Your batteries will be damaged if you do. |
