Re: who's got a gun rack/holder?
I have one. I don't use it much at the golf course, but I have... One you get the rifle patterns all set they are pretty good. They wobble a little without the upper support. Mine is removable. The stand is on the passenger floorboard (on the slant) and the upper part screws on with butterflys. It works well. That is the best way to carry a weapon without scratching it up. It holds it safely off the floor and is easily accessible from my seat. I think this shows the base. I don't have a pic of the whole thing in place.
The angle doesn't show. In that position the rifles still lay toward the front of the cart, leaning on the cowling. Last edited by tonyton; 10-05-2009 at 08:20 PM.. Reason: comment |

Re: who's got a gun rack/holder?
I have 2 on my cart, but haven't taken pictures yet where they are visible. The front one I bought from Academy and it was designed for an ATV. It is bolted to my front basket and reinforced back to the top of the cart. Here is their add:
The second one is a single gun rack which is mounted to a pipe and bolted to the back of the seats. Fully loaded I can carry 3 guns (which is still a gun or 2 short sometimes). George |

Make sure you get the removeable one. There is however one problem the velcro.. it makes too much noise when your tying to keep quiet.. For quiet situations, i just use one of those adjustable nylon straps with the clip on the end, and just be very careful when i un clip it. And when you install it, make sure you have one of your larger guns, and the one with the largest scope, just so you make sure you have proper clearace between the dash, and or roof (if you have a 50cal elephant gun) lol. |
