** Looking for Club Car Regen Conversion parts**
Looking for some help out there! I am starting a new Lifted Stretched 48 Volt Cart Project. The bad part is I have 2 1997 DS Regen-1 carts to start with. After talking to Rick at Plum-Quick, he suggested I find a series cart to start with. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable but I thought I before I try to sell the ones I have now, I would check here to see what options or parts I could find first. I plan on getting a new motor, controller, H/D solenoid, H/D forward/reverse switch from PQ. His concern was all the wiring I am starting with. So, having said all that, does anybody have any helpful ideas? sell what I have, find a series? find some wiring? Please help, I got he 2 carts for next to nothing, so I hate to start over. I`m going crazy wanting to get started on this! Please help.

Re: ** Looking for Club Car Regen Conversion parts**
i have swapped out several motors that were reagan carts with hi-speed motors from d&d and just taped the hanging plug from cart side to the frame taking the cart from 12 mph up to 21.5 mph according to GPS and have never had an issue so if thats your concern i would,t worry about it.....................also call D&D they are very helpful and will try walking you thur things over the phone, good luck with whatever you decide and keep us posted and up to date....................................

Re: ** Looking for Club Car Regen Conversion parts**
If you are at all mechanically/electrically proficient, converting those 2 carts to series carts is not that hard. Grab a wiring diagram from a series cart from the stickies and basically rewire the cart based on the diagram. the down side to converting a regen is the fact you have to replace all the wiring (including control wires). The plus side is that you get to rest peacefully knowing that all the wiring is new and that there are no kinks or corroded terminals to worry about.
