Stealth Apache front brakes
Has anyone ever installed front brakes on Stealth Apache 4x4? It is hard to stop on hill and front brakes would help a lot.

Re: Stealth Apache front brakes
I haven't, but someone else might chime in with some thoughts. Are your rear brakes working properly? Seems like they should hold, but I don't have any big hills to try mine out on.

Re: Stealth Apache front brakes
I have a Patriot and my brakes didn't stop very good so I ended up breaking them down, cleaning everything (pads where OK) and adjusting all the way out and slowly adjusting back tight and haven't had a problem since. I'm not sure what caused them not to work correctly before this, but before the cleaning/adjustment I could stomp on the brakes and they wouldn't lock up...now they do. I've no idea how to add brakes to the front, but doesn't seem like you should have to if back brakes are adjusted correctly.

Re: Stealth Apache front brakes
Thanks for thr replys but from the best I can find out nothing is made to solve my problem. I use this on pretty steep muddy hills and rear brakes appear to be working fine it's just the cart wants to start sliding instead of stopping beacuse of muddy trails. Im thinking a front set of brakes would help me keep from sliding sideways down hills. I have to creep very slow to keep from this happening. Thanks Bill

Re: Stealth Apache front brakes
I looked at mine to see if there's room for a disc and a small set of calipers. I can't see how you would do it, but I'm not gonna say it couldn't be done.
