1982 EZGO clutch problem
So I got the carburetor replaced and my baby started right up, barely need to choke it!!!!
Now after running around the campground I end up with the drive clutch staying engaged once I stop. I have to tap it with a hammer to get it to dis-engage. Any advice? |

Re: 1982 EZGO clutch problem
I have one doing that as well. I've removed it, taken it apart (as far as I could) and sprayed the shaft down with PB Blaster and let it sit there a while. Mine was frozen in place ENGAGED. It finally broke loose. All I can see without taking the whole thing apart, is that the shaft rusted, and it's just hanging up. I'm going to take a dremel to it with a wire wheel and clean it up good, and see if that takes care of it. 'Course, I probably won't get back to that until after I get the OTHER cart running better.
