Ezgo rxv not making 18 holes of golf

I have a 1012 txt 48 v but with 6 8 volt batteries.
My convertor was drawing right at 1 amp with no load. Although that should not effect a healthy battery pack, I did add a toggle switch on positive wire from battery to convertor so it can be turned off when not in use.
I would closely monitor battery voltage with dvm when charged,after chargered and underload riding around course. Batteries are probabable cause. Not minut convertor draw IMO 😊

Okay,So I’ve installed a new set of batteries.

Connected the trigger switch(yellow wire) to the solenoid the terminal that goes to the control unit.All working other than when I turn off my ignition key the lights stay on for about 5 secs is this normal?

Could be. Are lights LEDs? Capacitors could take a few seconds to drain. I'f be surprised if you get 5 seconds on halogen lights @ 2 x 55 watts.

I have a small light bar wired tandem to the basic ezgo headlights.

I wouldn't worry about it. I had 2 x 55 watt halogen headlights, but I never bothered to turn the reducer off before turning the light switches and radio off. Just a habit, so mine may have stayed on for a few seconds.

Agree normal,convertor along with lights powering down.
Run time improve with new batteries ?
