Default Volt-2003 Voltage Reducer

Has anyone installed this voltage reducer in their Club Car Precedent?

I have a 2007 and it is supposed to connect using pre-wired harness. I am interested in attempting to install in the preferred location behind the front wheels on the frame bulk head.

Thoughts?

Z.

Very easy install. If you have the light harness already installed, its a 15 minute job tops. With the wheels turned to the left, you can access the mounting location, 3 screws in the dash to remove/replace once harness is plugged in.

It fits and works perfectly. Same as the factory one, for about half the cost.

I'm confused - see the link to this site. Says it fits CC 2008.5+ and further down on the right. States: "Sorry! This doesn't fit your Golf Cart".

I have a 2007 CC Precedent

Nope. Get the one you linked in your first post from Revolution Golf Cars. You'll get first class customer service and the over-the-phone troubleshooting if you need it

That's because you're dealing with a parts salesman rather than a technician who sells and installs these parts himself. It's easy to "copy and paste" information on these parts from the vendor site to an online store, but knowledge of the product is where a lot of these places are lacking. I've installed thousands of these reducers on pre-2008.5 Precedents and they work perfectly.

And how many of us have seen just how many errors & misprints some of the major suppliers put in their cataloging? Then some internet vendor does that copy & past and you've got all kinds of scrambled information out there.
