Default coils get hot

Just replacecd all sylonids and micro switchs as I knew some were bad. Do the coils always get hot? 1986 club car, 36 volt of course.

Welcome to BGW! The slower you go the hotter they get. Their job is to waste amperage not needed for full speed.... hope this helps
