86 Club Car no spark
I replaced the coil on my 86 club car and still no spark. Checked the plug it works. Any thoughts?

On the KF82 flat head motor you have 4 main parts of the ignition system, and you also have a kill circuit which is connected to the CDI coil. Disconnect the wire for the kill circuit and see if you still have no spark. If you still have no spark that rules out other switches on the rest of the cart that will kill the spark.
If you still have no spark, use the diagnostic chart below to test the exciter and pulser coils. |
