I vote for a DPI for thats what I have and never had a problem in the 2+ years of use .

You can't go wrong with either DPI or Lester, I don't know anything about the Yeweys.

I have been looking at chargers all day. AHHHHH!

I like the YEWI because it can be mounted on board and is the cheapest. Anyone know of any problems if mounted under the rear seat? @ ScottyB did the one you mounted on the shuttle hold up? Mine will be off road and vibrated quite a bit.
$229

Thunderbull is also an option , but I don't see an on board option.
$439.43

Also looking at Lester "Summit" High Frequency Battery Charger, 19.5AMP
$340.00

or

Lester Summit High Frequency Charger, 14AMP
$330.00

Any battery longevity difference in 14A vs 19A?

And finally DPI 2 up votes already! $285.00

I like the thought of an on board charger, but it's not a deal breaker.

And lastly if/when I upgrade to a hi torque motor and controller or as soon as one fails and I have an excuse for the wife, wouldn't I have to bypass the OBC anyway?

Thanks,
Michael

Thanks,
Michael
And still hard to beat a DPI as they are very sophisticated in regards to individual algorithms and programming for major battery manufacturers.

Yes. The OBC can still be used. It does not have to be removed unless you just want to do it.

Dpi. I did a google search on yewi charger just to see some history and the primary site that came up was an alibaba site. I’ll keep using my dpi for now.
