Default Yamaha G2 Cart - Getting Up To Speed

I just got this cart and it doesn't seem to get up to speed and it sounds like the motor.may be running at high RPMs, but I will say the rear gas fill access door so maybe that is why it sounds that way.

I put it on the lift and the clutch doesn't seem to separate. Is that normal? It seemed to get up and go fine, but seems not to go very fast.

The clutch in mine was completely seized with gunk/rust, so it's possible if it hasn't received service.

Did you end up putting a new clutch in it then? Otherwise is there a way to clean it up?

Most likely going to have to replace them.
