Disc brake install, any prep work?
I just ordered an Ausco Disc brake kit thanks to Cart Parts Plus.
Is there any real prep work that I should do before I get the kit? |

Just remove all of your old rear brake parts on the rear, save some of the parts you will need them again. Did you get a four wheel set or two wheel? |

It's the two wheel rear kit.

Just added the set last week. It's a simple install. A little tweaking on adjustment but work well when finished. Think you'll like the kit.

I know you can't use 8" wheels, but will the 10" wheels out now for "non-lifted" carts work?
I have been looking at thesee, have no desire to lift the cart, but would like to add disc brakes. Golf Cart Wheel And Tire Combo Fits Non Lifted Club Cars EZGO ITP 6 spoke Rims http://www.ebay.com/itm/Golf-Cart-Wh...11915602740519 |

I have 12" wheels and they work fine with a good bit of clearance. Should be okay on 10" with straight bell wheels.

10" is the smallest you can go. It doesn't matter if you are lifted or not. I have installed several of these kits. Never had any issues.
I also recommend you replace the brk cables also. |
