Electric Codes - Precedant
I have a 2005 Precedant, any codes to make it faster. How do I get codes or make it faster or change codes?

Re: Electric Codes - Precedant
Any dealer can access speeds 1, 2, and 3 without paying a dime for a Private Speed Code (Code 4) If they charge you to change anything between 1-3 it's nothing but pure profit. Different dealers work different ways so who knows.

Re: Electric Codes - Precedant
So the only way to program in the speed code (4) is to take it to a dealer?

Yes.. The IQ Diagnostic machine for dealers will allow programming. On top of that, once the dealer gets your car, they must read the serial number off of the controller, and off of the car, then request a private speed code from Club Car, then they can unlock the 4th speed setting.

Re: Electric Codes - Precedant
Not quite true! I know I paid several hundred dollars for my programmer and I usually charge $100 for the speed code upgrade. In other words, it takes quite a few speed code upgrades to pay for the programmer!
