'71 Harley Speed Adjustment?
I got my '71 H-D running again today. It's been parked in the garage for about 3 or 4 years now. Runs as great as ever, but it just reminded me about the Speed Control. When pressing down on the throttle, it takes off a little too fast. I always seem to be giving it gas, then let off a little, the give it gas again, etc.
I would like it to creep along a little slower when I would like it to, without the engine keeping on cutting off. Wondering if there is any way of adjusting it? Thanks |

Also check the switch under the gas pedal for proper adjustment. That is the gas on/off switch!
