Default Popping noise from the left rear tire

I have this noise that seems to be getting worse. When my golf cart is under a load such as going up a steep hill, or if I have 4 passengers, the left rear wheel starts to "pop". When I left off the pedal it goes away. But it's only when its under strain.

I rotated my tires Saturday I checked out everything. The center nut is tight, nothing loose, and all lug nuts were retightened. It almost sounds like it's coming from the differential, but only on the left.

Any ideas?

Thanks

The splines in your brake drum/hub are failing. It won't be long before it goes CRACK/WHIRRRRRRRR = no motion. It is a known weakness on these carts. There are upgrades available.

That's a very important item to list in this case, LOL. I could still be right, but I now doubt it myself. Now I would suspect a bearing is failing somewhere.

Sounds like a bad axle bearing.

Snapring where the spinning axle shaft meets the axle tube. Putting the hub back on but backwards makes a good handle for pulling.

Do I need to get the kit with the seal? Can you post a link to your thread?

Thanks!
