WTB: Robin 295 lower unit
Looking for a lower end for a 295 robin motor for a guy I know. It goes in a 1984 cart. Top end was rebuilt but then oil pump wasn’t working right and the bearing on the crank locked up. What do got. I live in ND. Thanks

Re: WTB: Robin 295 lower unit
Check your years. A 1984 cart doesn’t take a 295 motor.
1984 would take a 2pg 244cc motor which is a 2 stroke. The rear end and clutch are also sideways so the clutch faces the entirely wrong direction You may be in for quite a search if it is in fact a 1984. Parts aren’t easy to come by for a 2004 on these anymore let alone a 1984. You’re probably better off swapping in a 4 cycle rear end and putting a different engine in it. |
