Alltrax DCX500
I need to replace the controller on my 2003 EZGO PDS golf cart and I am trying to decide between the Alltrax DCX400 or the DCX500. My question is will the DCX500 fit physically under the existing cover? I have read some things that make me think that it will not, if not how do you guys adjust for this issue?
Also, do I need to get a HD solenoid as well along with 4 gauge wiring? Is that all I need to add? |

Re: Alltrax DCX500
I'm also thinking about an Alltrax DCX500, after replacement does the alltrax still accept the plug for the run/tow switch, or does it do away with it?

Re: Alltrax DCX500
not even the 400 amp?
If true that sucks, how do you keep it water tight? Are there replacement covers that you have to buy? Do the 400 amp Curtis speed controllers fit? |

Re: Alltrax DCX500
The Alltrax controllers themselves are watertight, but I do not know about those exposed PC boards on the Sepex carts.

Re: Alltrax DCX500
Well, that doesn't actually show a picture of how the controller physically sits and the altercations to the cover. It shows a diagrham of the wire connections, but thanks for trying to find me an image to look at.

Thanks Russ, so you just cut the cover in half.
