Default Alternator output

I have a2006 gas club car precedent with a fe-350. I’m looking for what voltage my alternator should be putting out and at what rpm. I’d also like to find what’s the best steps that should be used to test this output. Thanks

Try the voltage regulator test: disconnect the yellow wire to the starter generator. Run a jumper wire from that terminal on the starter generator to ground. Run the engine up to speed for just a moment and see what voltage you read at the battery during that moment it's running. If it's still under 12 volts it's a generator issue. If it goes high, over 15 volts, then it's a voltage regulator issue.

My 08 Precedent off is at 12.2 volts
Running it’s 14.2-14.4 and that’s with a radio running and a fan cooling the engine compartment
