Air Cleaner box/assembly for 1983 G1

Hey everyone, looking for an air cleaner for the G1 I am rehabbing. Opened the seat to find they had a quad air cleaner on it

Any help is appreciated.

I think I have one but ill need to check its condition. If its in good shape I know it will need new straps as they dry rot over time but they are cheap. And youll need a new air filter. Im certain I don't have an intake pipe.

can you post a picture of your current setup? are the taps still on the differential for mounting the stock air cleaner

Hey Mike thanks for responding. I just got the cart and opened it up to find a tiny air filter clamped directly to the carb. I'm having the engine rebuilt Plowman, and he is going to jet it for the stock filter. I think you are referring to the mount points in the picture.

sorry had to do some digging. I have an air cleaner assembly but one of the 3 tabs that hold the lid down is broken on the lid. Its yours if you want it. Again I do not have the intake hose.

You can try the Yamaha G1 G3 Facebook page as they get parted out on there quite a bit. Whatever you do, do not let someone convince you to send money via paypal under a friend, you loose your backing this way. NO MATTER how many times you've dealt with them. otherwise ive had good luck finding stuff there.

I had no problem sending/giving you the parts you needed but don't tell someone your going to give them parts and then stop responding. If you sold the arm rests that's fine, all you had to do was tell me. YOU POSTED them for free and I offered to pay for shipping. Good luck in your future parts hunting.
