If it has an OBC it is 48v

It says on the OBC, the pic that was posted

Charges on 48v VDC (24 cell Battery system)

Default multiple club car parts circa 1998

I guess if it’s off of a 98 club car it would have to be. I have an old 36v club car that needs a motor.

Not necessarily. 36 volt cars were made until 2004. But these parts are undoubtedly for a 48 volt system.

Would any of this be compatible with, or beneficial to a Regen 1 upgrade?

Only if you wanted to convert the whole drive system to series.

This would be a 3.75hp Special Service 48v, which will do 3300 rpm. It's only about 500 rpm more than a 3.10hp Special Service 48v, which does 2800 rpm.

3.10hp Special Service nets about 13 to 14 mph on my cart. So that's about 200rpm per mph. In that case the 3.75hp Special Service should be about 16.5 mph.

I still can't afford a new motor so I'm chugging with a 36v 2800rpm stock running on 48v. It gets about 19-20 mph. Which makes sense because 2800x1.33 (33% more voltage) = 3724 rpm. So it's about 18.6 mph.

The king of stock motors is the 36v 3300rpm running on 48v. 4389 rpm or 21.9 mph. Now there is one more on the list that says it's 4150 rpm on 36v and 5500 rpm on 48v. 27.6mph on 48v.

These numbers aren't exact but are generated from testing on my cart. My cart is lifted on 23" tires. I've tested 3 different motors and mines really close to the 200 rpm = 1 mph.

Does that seem like the right controller for that cart? 36-48?
