2013 Hot Rod Pour Tour

Well most of you know me for my golf carts but I also have another money pit. My 1971 Chevy C-10 is my baby and I have pampered it ever since I bought it. It's parked in a garage every night and I go out to the garage every day and talk to her. I wash it even when I don't drive it and wax on her even though it's been inside.

Well next month it's going for a week and half 3000 mile round trip to Arlington Texas to Charlotte NC for the 2013 Hot Rod Pour Tour. I have been working on it since last Nov getting things in order for this trip and very excited about going. I will be posting day by day pictures and stories of the trip to this site.

Sweet truck!!Some friends of ours have done a few Power-Tours in their El-Camino,not sure if they are going this time,I haven't seen them in a while.If you see a Dark Maroon early 80s' "Camino" with NY plates from Brockport,NY,See if the driver is Carl!!Have a Blast!!!

My 6 year old son and I will be going again this year. The turbo mustang didn't quite get finished so we will probably take the Syclone. Make the full pull again. I'll look out for your awesome looking C10! Here's our ride:

Cool ride man! I almost bought a Typhoon! Hey if you want bring that bad boy to our after the tour C-10 cruise in Mooresville NC on June 8th. Jeff a I have gotten a pretty good selection of vendor's and a bunch of gifts to give away. It's also going to have go-cart racing all day! Here is a link for it.

Well the tour came and went! I drove a little over 3200 miles and not one problem out of the truck! Man it was great. I had a blast.

it goes to WI next year. I hope to have a LS in it by then.
