Default GEM parting out. 72v ride-4-fun motor and controller

Parting out a 72v GEM 4 seater electric car. Excellent Front end, Chassis, Frame, drive train, vented high performance motor, Upgraded bumpers, cargo box. not crashed. Hood, windshield, and dash melted. Would consider trades for converting EZGO 48v.

What would you take for the motor and controller. Just wondering if it could be transplanted into an ezgo. You have the charger too?

The onboard charger blew up, caught fire, melted the hood and front GEL batteries ended this fun cars fun.... the controller and motor still work, I wanted to put it in the ezgo, but was told something about it being a regen and not compatible with a series cart also the GEM is front wheel drive.

I didnt want to hijack the other thread so here is the story about that battery.
Here is a detailed summary of this car. the cart is a 2001 purchased new in 2009. New batteries were installed in 2011 due to charging issues. this cart was fully loaded, heaters, fans, doors, overhead console. In May the cart was not functioning due to the charger not having a maintenance mode and the owner was not home for a few months to plug and unplug the charger in.
A manual charge on all batteries was performed and the onboard charger kicked on, and after a few rounds of charging and discharging the pack seemed to equalize, and the green charge complete light would come on.
During this time I was unable to get a good reading on the batteries, due to other people taking the car as soon as they would see a green light. 2 problems were noticed,

1.When the horn was pressed, the cart would lose power until the key was turned off and on. this also would bring the batteries from 90% to 60%. in addition to the beep beep of the horn, there was always a loud click from a relay or a solinoid..
2. the accelerator pedal did not always work.

the last time the cart was used it was not plugged in afterwards, and the driver was beeping the horn as he pulled into the driveway. 3 days after that there was someone knocking on our door early in the morning to tell us the cart was smoking.
the onboard charger looks like it exploded. that melted the hood, the 2 front batteries caught fire and the heat cracked the windshield.

My guess is that the horn/ relay or solinoid never powered down, and shorted the charger..
