Default Maintenance & Service Manual

Just got a 96 CC-DS, 36 v, v-glide w/ resistors.

Local dealer sent me a pdf of the owners manual, but wants $50+ for the M&S manual. Does anyone have the manual available in electronic format that can be posted or emailed?

Been reading lots of great posts here.

Won't be doing to much upgrading to this cart. The campground we are at on the Eastern Shore of Virginia has a 15 mph speed limit & no hills.

Welcome to the forum sbycamper!

sorry... there aren't any manuals available via the internet (electronic format)

IMHO...
spend the $50.00 for the manual,
it'll be alot easier, and cheaper using the manual to fix your cart yourself,
then to have your CC dealer fix it!

You could also check with our sponsors to see if they may be "a bit" cheaper!

I spent $135.00 on a FE290 M&S manual (which I didn't need, but has been helpful here!)...
a FE350 manual (which I did need)...
and an Illustrated parts list... (just because I wanted it!)

as far as I'm concerned... it was money WELL spent!
(I've learned alot from them!)

I'll end up buying the manual if I can't find it anywhere. Don't like spending the $ if I can do it myself.

I just reread this...
Please tell me you meant 5 mph and not 15 mph...

because if that's the case... I'm going there...
I'm tired of getting stopped for doing 20 over the speed limit!

I will buy the manual if I can't get get if from anyone on line. Once I have it I will scan it into my computer so if I need a page I can print it out or just pull it up on the computer. With the proper instructions avaiable I know that I can do most of the repairs that might be needed to keep it running.

Can't do much to this one to speed it up, the campground has a 15 mph speed limit and there are no hills on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

You mean... like this???

It's a pretty good sized book...
I hope you have some extra time on your hands!

I only have some of it scanned... just to help people out here!
It's just easier for me to page through it,
but you do what you feel is best... for you!

A heck of a lot of scanning,
Most Maint Service Manuals I have seen cover Multiple Years 96-97, Gas and elect (36-48 volt) and are several 100 pages, + a couple chapters on Chargers.
I guess if you scan the ones only for your cart it would not be TOOO bad.
I got my mine used from a local CC dealer which had several for $25.

Good Luck.

Thanks Lockman & Morrison, that is just what I want to do. We have a Xerox copier at work that is also a scanner. You just load what you want scanned into it & it scans both sides automatically. Will check with local golf courses & repair shops to see if they have one for sale.
