Re: Cart not moving forward or reverse
More pics I think it's a 1998? or would it be 2006 last 2 digits of serial #? Maybe D-9= 2009?
And which of the A,B,C wiring schematics pertains to this cart so I can get this back going. I see the tow run switch is unhooked would this cause the batt to arc when cable is hooked up? I see a diode or resistor broken on main solenoid but customer says that has been like that.....But if its there to cut current back maybe has to do with arc? He states that he tried to switch the reverse and fwd solenoids and now has no reverse or fwd. |

Re: Cart not moving forward or reverse
Ok heres an update:
Found 1 solenoid was wired wrong, Have 2 diodes broken, 1 on main solenoid and 1 on reverse solenoid. Also found that the tow/run switch has been relocated in the dash. This may be why he was getting sparks when un hooking the battery pack? Looks to be wired correctly now that I have made a couple changes |

Re: Cart not moving forward or reverse
Which key switch do you have? Can you load a picture of the back side of it? And which control module? Here's the two "normal" 3 solenoid system.

Re: Cart not moving forward or reverse
So hopefully you don't have the Power Master module setup like in the first photo.
The diodes themselves are still available from Columbia, but honestly any high current diode works there. |

Re: Cart not moving forward or reverse
And those keyswitches are known failures as well. (Just to keep you chasing shadows I think so it's hard to find out what the true failure originally was).

Re: Cart not moving forward or reverse
Here's a wiring drawing that also shows the correct traffic flow to help with troubleshooting for the XP plus system.
Forgot to add the written part, here you go. |

Re: Cart not moving forward or reverse
I am in process of making up new diodes because he said when he hooks up batt pack sparks fly like a welder. I figure maybe a short?
