110 volt should cut 1/4" with no problem.

The Plasma cutter I have is both 110 and 220 but I only run it on 220. Mine just has a pigtail that I plug the 220 plug into then plug into 110. Nothing wiring wise to go from one to the other.

Mine also has an automatic air adjust so not anything I have to play with to get right. I did pay quite a bit more than $300
