Can't charge my cart
This is first time posting so I will try to be as thorough as possible.
I took my powerwise charger in to the local shop and they replaced the fuse and both diodes. One diode was shorted both ways and the other was open both ways. It charged a cart in the shop. When I plugged it into my cart, I heard the click of the relay but still wouldn't charge. I took the plug receptacle apart to check the connections and they are fine. Battery voltage is 38 vdc. Not sure what I need to do now. |

Re: Can't charge my cart
38v on a 36v cart is fully charged .. you may need to run it before charger can read low volts |

Re: Can't charge my cart
Reed switch does not control charging process in any way. It only prevents the cart from driving while the charger is plugged in.

Re: Can't charge my cart
Im only about 90% sure on this, but, i dont think the charger relay would activate if the AUX wire/terminal were bad. I have seen many cases of the small wire for the AUX terminal broken somewhere in the Dc cord from the charger, or poor AUX connection in the charger handle. Since it was demonstrated to charge another cart, im thinking a loose/worn out socket in your charge recepticle on the cart. It does currently drive, but not charge right?

Re: Can't charge my cart
It does drive just won't charge. Voltage is 38 but I do have one round on it since the last time it was charged.

Re: Can't charge my cart
Have you tried measure the pack voltage during charging?
