Default 2009 precedent lifted, front suspension question:

I replaced my rear springs with hd 4 leafs and that has really helped the sway, but the front end is still dangerously squirrelly. The cart is lifted, and has a Rear seat. I have asked, and received, help on stock recommendations, but it has occurred to me that shocks may not be the fix. Anyone have any advice on how to stiffen up front end? Newbie here.
Thanks!

What brand/style of lift kit do you have? You may want to check to make sure you don't have too much toe-in or toe-out on the front wheels. Make sure that the front wheels are straight in line with the back wheels and maybe just a little toe-in. Hope this helps!

Thank you for the idea. I will study up on how to do that!
I don't know the brand of lift. I'll have to track down the guy I bought it from.

I replaced the front shocks with another set of stock CC front shocks. They are so loose, they are worthless! I am looking into stiffer ones. Waynedizzle, what do you mean"adjustable one from an old quad"?

Jake's sells a kit for the front end to help solve this problem. that's all I know about it. you may want to check with them on it. I brought this up at a CC seminar and they acted like there was no problem.

Kingpaul, I'm following this thread, but I can't help you until you find out what kind of lift kit you have.

Hi David, Thanks for the help. It appears that it is an Allsports 6" lift. BTW, I sent you a facebook friends request and a message about a month ago. It's just me, not a crazy stalker!

The All-Sports should already have a double leaf spring up front. That should be pretty dang stiff already. Stiffer shocks may help you out.

As for the facebook request. Did I accept? If not, send it again. I never accept requests unless I know who they are.
