No power and whining noise (solved)
Figured I'd post this in case someone is having the same issue. The other night I went for a ride and after parking it for a few minutes noticed it was lacking power and barely got up to speed.when I lifted the seat I noticed the battery was leaking at the caps and the generator was whining. I put a volt meter across the terminals and when I revved it up in neutral it was putting out 18+volts. I disconectted the green terminal that comes out of the voltage regulator and it was back to normal power wise. Changed out the regulator tonight and it's running good again. I guess the generator was putting a lot of load on the motor and overcharging the battery so that's why it wouldn't rev up. Hope this helps someone.

Re: No power and whining noise (solved)
Good one. A volt meter mounted in key switch face plate would be a good upgrade on these carts.
