Perhaps you can find some 1/2"-13 coupling nuts and some bolts sized to suit? Coupling nuts that size should be about an 1.5" tall.

Well, looking to update to Ranger 160's in my 2012 Precedent, any other things I should worry about? And how is the performance of the 160's ?

Performance will be the same, what will be different is the size of your tank as in distance...
