What year and model helps when asking questions of forum, if unsure give complete serial number from under passenger glove box on frame.

You are going to have to check and see what voltage is going to horn and button. Its possible that its hooked direct to 48 volts? With out a voltage reducer ( 48 volts to 12 volt ) or ( you have 16 volts= 2-8 volt batterys reduced to 12 volts )? Most horns and lights etc are made for 12 volts only so you need a digital volt meter to check whats going on. Harbor Freight $5.00 plus freight.
NOTE--REMEMBER THAT ON BATTERY CARTS YOU CAN NOT GROUNDED ANYTHING TO FRAME. If you do it can destroy your solid state controller.
