Default Carryall + Steeleng Lift + stock shocks

1996 carryall 1

I believe I have the rear end sorted out (you need OEM style shoes from a DS with double studs, NOT the style with the eyelet at the bottom)

The front end is what I am not sure about: I want to know if I can use my OEM shocks with the SGC lift kit. I know some guys have put these on carryalls and could probably tell me.

I have attached two pictures of what I am working with- and no I will probably not use the ones on the cart due to age/condition, but I want to know what style to buy

I reused the OEM shocks on my carryall, no problems. Mine were in good shape though.

alright i was hoping you would chime in. I cant picture how they mount on the lift kit, for some reason was thinking the oem style wouldn't work or mounted different.

planning on ordering some new ones before I install them, don't see much of a reason to keep these gems

just thought of it while i was getting around new hardware to mount everything

OEM part numbers lead me to these shocks:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pack-of-2-F...l/254611518379

however they look a little different, any reason that anybody knows of why they wouldn't fit?

waiting on response from seller as his description says it wont fit carryalls. However my parts book says as long as I don't have front brakes the OEM DS number is the shock I need.

Update: seller responded saying they should fit since the part numbers match, and since I asked first he will refund me if they dont. Thats good service to me!

Last update on the suspension: factory or oem shocks worked fine on SGC lift kit
