Sparks and smoke from starter generator
Hey guys, I just noticed that when I step on the gas the front post on the starter generator from the solenoid is sparking and almost looks like its heating up/ turning red with a little smoke coming off it. It is just the one post and the cart runs fine and charges. I took the connection apart wire wheeled it and tightened it back up with the same results. It seems like it's in forward only so far. Anyone seen this or have an idea on why it might be happening?

Sounds like connection inside the starter/generator is bad

I was worried that could be the problem. Are these fully servicable or if I lose that connection inside is it time for a new one?

Take it apart and see. It already doesn't work, can't make it much worse.
