Stater generator won’t engage
Hi and thanks for ur help in advance,my cart every now and then when u tread on gas pedal nothing would happen then after few mins it would start so I replaced the solenoid and it started twice and that was it,I can hear solenoid click when I step on pedal but dosent crank so b/4 I spend $150 on a starter generator does anyone have any advice for me,I think I’ll pull generator an do a bench test I found instructions on line just not sure if that would be next step any help would be greatly appreciated

Load test the battery and clean all of the connections.

Where did you buy the solenoid ? amazon or ebay maybe ?
The OEM starter is $307.00 but they just don't tear up much. Don't spend money on the aftermarket because they are junk. At least the ones I have seen are. Don't remove that starter just yet. Do what cart around said first. |

No got robbed at local cart sales/repair place buggies unlimited wanted $19 for solenoid but would have to wait for delivery another local place wanted $78 and another wanted $40 so I went with $40 b/c grand kid were coming had to get it running but in the end it still don’t run so I hope battery test fails 2maro that would be an easy fix

Ok guys no explanation battery test showed battery good only thing happening solenoid clicking so I tapped starter with hammer a few times and it’s working Fine now I just don’t trust it what do u guys think ??

Sounds like the brushes were stuck or worn. Pull one of the caps and inspect..
