Default Swapping clutches from 2014 to 2008?

Hi. I have a 2014 drive and a 2008 drive. I'm looking to put the plowmans performance kit on the 2014. I would like to use the clutches from the 2014 on the 2008.

Will there be any problem replacing both the primary and the secondary clutches from a 2014 on a 2008? I'm only concerned with the 2008 being team and the other not.

Thank you,

They should swap right over, as long as you really have a 2014, and they both have the same Team axle.

(Manufacture date lags model year by one, and 2015 was the first year they switched back to Dana/Schafer axle).

Thanks for the reply. Just for clarity, these are the clutches on the 2014 that I would like to put on the 2008.

Ok, your 2014 clutches need the J55-G6241 belt, not the JW1-G6241 belt used on the 2008 clutches.

I probably shouldn't have put different clutches on the 2008.

It had a lightweight performance secondary.

I've seen a few of those "racing clutches", but never one with that much "weight reduction".
