the only thing with mine,is I want the cart to be super quiet, on a car if you put duel exhaust it gives you a louder ,deeper sound. so I think I will use a single muffler ,maybe a largest one i can make fit. good luck with yours

I think the older grand am was one of the smaller mufflers, or cavilier/spitfire/whatever. Ford mufflers tend to be really quiet someone on here was using a focus muffler, but the car has two mufflers inline.

I looked for TheNewGuys VW muffler the other day and could not find I was bummed. I thought he said JCWhitney had them but they don't.

$73 you found it, I'm losing my search touch Not so sure it would be cool on my 16hp clone single though. I'm going to get a small and very quiet car muffler 12-13" long is small as I find. The only catalog I found on the net is maremont.
http://maremont.com/products/oe_replacement_mufflers/

What would be really cool is a valve and a bypass on the muffler, then put a SS tip out the back. One could use a wastegate for that, but most of them are not the best for hooking pipes to. Not sure how these seal up:

Check this out, but its not real quiet

But an old throttle body off a car might work too. Even an EGR valve might be big enough for a cart.
