My Predator 212 Powered 04 CC Precedent
Hi!!
I wanted to give everyone a big shoutout for willing to share their hard work. I've been reading a lot and building in spurts but it's now time brag a little. I re-powered / built an 04 CC Precedent with an HF Predator 212. She'll scoot down the paved road at about 17mph and climb a steep street at about 12mph. Downhill I can hit 29mph! I'm using a TAV20 knock-off with a jack-shaft and large gear on the back and a small gear on the transaxle with #35H chain. The chain drive is a little noisy. I did the cold air package with a bigger jet and a hotter sparkplug. I will add more pics showing the engine installed and everything back together! |

Re: My Predator 212 Powered 04 CC Precedent
Here are more pics of the final project!
I put in an SPod for the LED light bar and the side spots along with a USB charger and cigarette lighter adapter. The motor is still loud especially when I'm driving like NASCAR. So I was trying some sound deadening. Might need to find a lower reving motor where the power-band is sooner in the revs which would make it quieter. So please ignore the pink foam board. |
