I have some Galaxy grill pics too. The one you posted might be easier to fab, than the comet.

This may be jumping ahead, but planning now stops a lot of rework. Have you thought about the size of head light bulbs you are going to use. It may make a difference on the opening for where you want to put them. The 4 inch tractor/motorcycle/spot light bulb to me is the best choise for size when building on carts. JMO. You are doing such great work, I would hate it for you to have to redo because of an oversight. Keep up the good work and please keep us posted, with picks.

Rodgers, Thank you! It's good to know we're on the same page. Years ago I bought 4, 3-1/2" halogen Burners but I can only find 2 of them Anything larger than 4" wouldn't fit in the area I have to use and probably wouldn't look right even if they did. I'm actually going to the bike junkyard today to see if I can find 4. I want the ones with the chrome rings to cut down on some fabrication. Yes, they have to be DOT approved so I can pass the inspection when it's built. 3" would probably be better for size ratio but those are hard to find, especially on my budget. I also have to worry about wattage. The quad stator only puts out 137 watts. I'm working on the grill/headlights section now. I only have 4-3/4" to work with at the top (narrow) section where the headlights will go.
Thanks so much for your input!

Yw. Did a lot of fab on my build and just thought i would throw that out there for you. Early Fords have a great grill and head light arrangment to copy. I will continue to watch.

Thank you. I've built so many over the years. Just wait till these hooligans start telling you "no bumpers, not that bumper" Seems we have a "vision" of what we want it to look like, sometimes it works the first time, sometimes it doesn't. You just keep building

Found some driving lights from 2-2019 Jeep JLs. They look more like headlights than what I had to use. It's been between 110-119* here in the last few weeks. Too dang HOT to work outside. 😡😤😳 Still have to make the bottom of the grill, below the 1" spacer, the headlight buckets, and tweak the grill frames.
