IMG_20170124_204738542.jpg IMG_20170124_211759995.jpg After hours of cutting, fabricating, drilling, fitting, trips to Tractor Supply and Lowes for hardware etc, body is securely on. Front end surprisingly sturdy for only being attached at cowl, but I'm still gonna add some sort of support. Nothing "bolt on" about this thing, but I've got it going my way now. Originally intended to remove body for minor body work and paint, but at this point I think I'm gonna leave it on. |

Re: 57 Chevy Body on DS
Also, front end was no big deal. A bit of trimming. Rear wound up being difficult. Just a lot of cutting and adjusting.

Re: 57 Chevy Body on DS
Cart looks great, always liked the body kits for the GC's. What color are you going to do?

Re: 57 Chevy Body on DS
You did it right. All way's fit/fab the body parts first, then remove for finish painting Are the head lights and tail lights cut out/ fitted? To really make them look like a 57, painting and using the body lines and chrome time area's is a must. Good luck on your build!!

Re: 57 Chevy Body on DS
Thanks. I'm considering black with lots of chrome and red seat. Have not cut holes for lighting because I don't yet have them. Want them to fit perfectly.
