Thanks man. Last cart I built was around 4-5yrs ago. I am upgrading this lifted one because my kids have got to the age they want to go off road some. Our current street cart is great for around neighborhood and when we vacation on St Simons

Made some progress today. It's pretty tore down so took the oppurtunity to clean it up. Going to rewire it totally. Going to add rhino liner to the lower trim all around cart.

Thanks David. I found the sticky on OBC bypassing so that's clear now but what does the 4 prong plug go to with the new controller? And what is it for??

Also do I still need to keep the tow/run switch?

The 4 prong plug will not be used with the Alltrax. It's purpose is for the programmer port under your dash for the factory Curtis controller. Just leave it hanging. Your tow/run switch will still function normally.

Great, thanks for the help along the way David. Thinking this cart will be a good one.

Now for anyone else with a precedent. What is best thing to paint or cover the lower trim with. Want to do it all now while I have disassembled. I have two bodies so I will leave the silver one alone but have some 1080 3M wrap material for the other body

Krylon Fusion spray paint. Satin black.

Had to do a test run today. Neighbors got a laugh for sure. Cart has crazy torque and topped out around 24-25 but got there really fast. And the pack wasn't charged and was only 49.5. Will run on full charge tomorrow and then adjust settings as needed. Very happy with the upgrades so far

I just got done doing a similar install on my 07 Precedent with the XCT48400 Controller. Which controller did you do the 400 or 500? When you get more time to start dialing in your setting you should post your results here: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...-settings.html. I started a thread on the XCT controllers and the results each person is getting with them. It's interesting to see how the custom maping is affecting each cart.
