Default Wiring Question: Neutral lockout bypass? Pic included

Hey all, I'm in the process of rewiring my golf cart and ran into a little snag. I am missing my neutral lockout micro switch. My shifting mechanism only seems to have a Reverse alarm micro switch. (The arm only engages it when its shifted into reverse)

On to my question: Looking at the wiring diagram is it possible to bypass the wire highlighted in red by making a jumper (shown in orange) from the starter micro switch to the engine kill micro switch?

I know its there for a reason, but I'm trying to get this running by this weekend for hunting, I plan on doing it the right way down the road.

Thanks,

Gilby

turns out the rear end is off a 85 cart and has the neutral lockout built in the transaxle. (from what the local club car dealer told me)

So, since i cant find any diagrams for it im going to ignore it for now, i have the starter microswitch that im trying to figure out how to wire. Currently if i turn the key to the on position the dang starter continuously cranks.

Have to run to the hardware store to buy more fuses since ive gone through the one that was in it and also the two i stole from my motorcycle

Trial and error, i'll figure it out. But atleast the kill switch works with the pedal and keyswitch properly *cheer* halfway there.
