99 club car rear end
hello,
to go forward in my buggie, i have to use reverse as a forward gear. its kinda slow, has anyone figured this out for a faster forward speed. change gearing? thanks josh |

Hehe! What have you done? I had one go like that....some put taller gears in em but I imagine it would make reverse unbearable You need a newer engine or an older rearend.....96 1/2 was the change year. Good luck

I put a 18 hp in a 2000 carry all with 20" tires. Stock gears cart gps 19 mph. I put 8:1 gears in it and it topped out at almost 30 mph. Like Scotty said it would haul it in reverse.

I have a 98 carryall with a 16 hp and 6:1 gears. It is around 34 mph. I also have 20" tires.

This weekend I'm putting in 6.1 gears in my carryall 20HP ,22 inch tires
