Club Car Precedent oil in vacuum line to fuel pump
Hey guys I'm working on a precedent fe290. The cart will stall and sputter after a longer ride. It will start right back up with choke. The pulse line from the motor had some oil in it. When removed it sprays oil out when rolling over. It seems as though the oil is preventing enough suction on the pump for it to run properly. I suspect that I have something wrong internally but I'm hoping for a better answer than that from you guys :)

Re: Club Car Precedent oil in vacuum line to fuel pump
This is actually pretty normal for oil vapor/mist to come out of that port and into the pulse line. It’s critical to use the correct sized line (I use 1/4” fuel line) and make sure it goes “uphill” all the way to the fuel pump with no droops in the line where that mist can collect and block off the line. It will drain back into the motor instead of collecting.
