Yep, many have talked about this swap but this is the first I've seen begin it. Looks good so far. Keep up the good work and clean build.

Making a little more progress, I got my belt in the mail and installed it. I also got some flexible exhaust pipe ordered and it should be here on Friday. I also had to order a new brake cable for the drivers side, after the drop of the swing arm the original cable was too short. I ordered another passenger side cable and hooked it up on the drivers side. I began some body work as well, the lower dash piece had 2 large holes cut out of it with headlight mounted in it, and the upper cowl has two holes in it from where the home made canopy was mounted through it. I used a 2 part epoxy to glue some fiberglass backing material into the holes. I then use Bondo all purpose putty to fill the holes. After some sanding its starting to come together, but I will need some finer filler to finish it up.

I am hoping I dont have to much slack, but i need to test run it to find out. I dont want to it to be too wild, my wife will be driving this thing from time to time and I dont plan on breaking any land speed records. I just through the big motor idea was cool If i do indeed need to move my motor forward I will have to add some additional steel to my motor mount as currently my holes are drilled all the way towards the front of the brackets I added.

With a governor it will not go faster, but it will get there a lot quicker! I had to adjust to my clone because on trails you can't just mat it most of the time like before. You get going too fast for the corners; before you realize you are near top speed when you get to the next corner.

Can you elaborate on this adjustment? I noticed when i hooked up the throttle control that the Predator seems to have a very short length of travel on the throttle control, it seems as if you almost either at wide open or idle, but not much in between. I was thinking about adding in a spring to hopefully ease the throttle response.

I had to add a lever to equalize the carts long throttle throw to the clones short movement. See" clone throttle" in clone section.
